This is a beautiful
monastery which is one of the three monasteries in Nara. In a main hall
there are Wooden Nyoirin Kannon (an image of Buddha) and the portrait
of the Emperor Gomizuo. This monastery is well known as a head of tea
ceremony “yamamura”school. You can not go inside, but you enjoy strolling
through the approach to monastery. It would be a lot of fun. |
