The Jurin-in
Temple was built at the request of the Empress Gensho, and is an annex
of the Gango-ji Temple. In the main hall (National Treasure), there is
a miniature. shrine made of stone (Important Cultural Property), in which
reliefs of standing statues of Jizo Bodhisattva, Gautama Buddha, Miroku
Bodhisattva, etc., are housed. |
